Q: How to know if the fan clutch’s belt pulley is worn out?
A: Signs include a squealing belt (especially when accelerating), a wobbly pulley when the engine runs, or visible wear on the pulley’s groove (like cracks or smooth spots). If the pulley is worn, the belt can’t grip it well, which affects power transfer to the clutch. Replacing the pulley (or the whole clutch if it’s integrated) fixes this.
